Evening courses in throwing, sculpting and casting.
The courses will focus on throwing, sculpting, and casting. You will be introduced to foundational techniques by working with functional forms like cups, bowls and vases, as well as other functional objects. There will also be an introduction to our beautiful glaze archive and to the various associated glazing techniques. A lot of attention will be put on personal guidance and expression throughout the course.
A collective discussion is held during every class “Lunch and Learn”. It gives us a chance to talk about the craft of ceramics, contemporary exhibitions, and gain insight from each other's experiences in the wonderful world of ceramics. While sharing a light meal. Everyone can take part in this course regardless of their skill level.
Free coffee and tea are at your disposal.
